Elder Selwyn H. Davis was born to the late Rev. Dr. Barbara A. Davis and William A. Davis, in Philadelphia PA, where he began his education. He graduated from North Penn High School in Lansdale, PA in 1979.


Elder Selwyn H. Davis then furthered his studies graduating from Wagner College, Staten Island, NY in May 1984 where he obtained his Bachelors of Science and Economics.

While attending college he was First Team ECAS Honors for thee years and First Team All American for two years. He was the Vice President of Delta Nu Fraternity. September 2007, he was inducted into Wagner Collage Hall of Fame.

For seven years while residing in Staten Island, NY. he was employed by various warehousing/transportation companies in management positions and in 1990 he relocated to New Jersey, joining the Christian Community Center of Mount Holly and in 1995 started his own transportation company.

Elder Selwyn H. Davis received the Lord as his personal Saviour in 1976 and answered the call to the ministry, May 2000 and three months later was licensed a minister under the teaching and ministry of Rev. Dr. Barbara A. Davis.

February 2002, he received his dual Deacon and Elder orders and was charged with the ministry in Camden, NJ. located at Northgate II for numerous years.


December 2008 he was installed as Pastor of Christian Community Center of Mount Holly Inc, Elder Selwyn H. Davis joined The Extended Hand Ministry inc. an outreach Ministry of Christian Community Center Inc. founded by the late Rev. Dr. Barbara A. Davis whose ministry is to provide meals, shelter, clothing and supplemental food through its pantry to those in need.

His is married to Elder Cynthia Davis, who are are proud parents of daughter Ash'ley M. Davis and son Tyler A. Davis and numerous godchildren.

The past several years, Elder Selwyn H. Davis and his wife, Elder Cynthia Davis, have been overseeing the daily operations of The Extended Hand Ministry.

Elder Selwyn H. Davis, loves the Lord and lives a life pleasing in the sight of God.

One of his favourite scriptures is from Psalm 34:1 "I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth".
